Such a nice experience, The lady at reception was so accommodating and kind and really helped me out. The toilets are lovely and clean and Stephen at the DVSA centre helped me when i messed up. Nice building Lovely people

For the DVSA theory test centre…Be careful that the directions send you to chesterfield station if you click on the highlighted part of the address. Use the post code and look for the white and black HQ signs. The theory test is on the left through the main doors in the centre of the building

The dvla driving test
Both members of staff I saw were lovely my test was on the 10th Dec. They couldn't be any more accommodating I hope you pass on the message that they were so kind to me and I'm so grateful really helped my anxiety

given 1 star as its the minimum possible I can, isn't worthy of a minus 3 star rating. No signage whatsoever to state this is the building for DVSA testing. 4cm scrap of paper with biro scribble on intercom to give you a clue. Rude unprofessional voice at the intercom offering no help or assistance at all, but giving wrong advice on 'free' parking up the road, not free and rebooking a test also confirmed as incorrect when speaking to DVSA later. Shockingly bad and highly unprofessional.

*Not a good experience*

However, easy to find building and within a steady 20min walk from the train station, although there is limited parking on site.

Reason for this visit was for my daughter's theory test. It is a buzzer entry clearly marked DVSA. There is no reception staff so entry instructions are given at the buzzer.

If you are accompanying I would advise not to sit in the reception area. There is seating and no signage stating otherwise. I was sat in reception for a good 25mins when out of the blue appeared a grey haired, rude shabby dressed old guy demanding that I remove myself from reception, he stated he had seen me on cctv from the toilet ? and said was not allowed. Feeling threatened and to avoid further confrontation I waited outside.

The building is sparcley accupied so I would be wary if visiting alone!

Went for dvsa test. It was easy to locate, not crowded, the receptionist was cordial and gave clear directions.
