Having been chosen by Roller to receive a website rebuild and hosting package as part of a campaign to promote charities in Nottingham, it's important to note that we wouldn't simply have 'jumped ship' for a freebie if the company offering this didn't give us confidence that they could handle our requirements - and produce a professional looking website too!

From the moment we sat down with the team at Roller, we knew we had found the right partner to help us make the most our website opportunities. They were able to explain - in very simple, easy to understand language - just what they could do for us, how the pages could be edited by our own volunteers, and how they would ensure that our website could be viewed on any platform without loss of feature or 'shape' - as is often the case when moving from one device to another.

As well as offering guidance on layout and structure, we were confident in the team to deliver an appearance that would be pleasing on the eye and attractive to a wide range of visitors, so we effectively 'left them to it' with just a few basic pointers.

The first day I met Martin and had a look into his operation, I was VERY keen to be involved and to integrate Fitpack. I saw the culture of nuom from the first minute I walked into their offices and I knew that my team and Martin's team would thrive working with one another. It was important for me to find ambitious app & web developers, designers and project managers who could build the first version of Fitpack app just how my team and I envisioned it.

I met with Martin and Ryan to go over specs one morning, and they guaranteed that they could deliver on Fitpack. They assured me that their level of professionalism, organisation, tenacity and talent would get the job done to an impeccable standard. I knew from that moment that nuom was the perfect fit.

Despite really tight development deadlines, Martin and Ryan ensured me that everything would get completed to the highest of quality. Our first build was an intensive 3-month project that most app development companies would have turned away as they would have believed that the timelines were too tight and stringent. Not nuom though. They were well up for the challenge and they made sure that all processes were efficient and high-quality.

After months of hard work, on January 1st 2020 (as projected), we had a successful launch of the Fitpack app. After just one week of activity, the app is now being used across 6 different continents. Our front-end is beautiful, responsive and slick. Our back-end is robust, secure and stable. Our CMS is intuitive and our cloud-based functions are seamless. It's safe to say that Fitpack has been built to scale globally and I'm so excited for what's in store for Fitpack and nuom as a collective.

I scheduled a 30 minutes discovery call with this unprofessional outfit after seeing a LinkedIn post to learn if they can meet my needs. The founder sends me a LinkedIn connection request which I accept. He then proceeds to sell to me asking if I need any more information. I offer my mobile and said I have 30 minutes free to elaborate. His response 'Send me some information in the nature of the call else I’ll assume it’s a sales call. I’m extremely busy and to save you and me time it would be useful to know what the call is. to which I reply speak to you next week. He follows up with 'Obviously you don’t understand. No you won’t.' cancels the discovery call scheduled and removes me as a connection.

Working with this agency was one of the easiest things to do. We needed an app built and they delivered for us a very good, comprehensive and valued tender document, which outlined for me the initial design for the app, the build process and the final launch.

What really impressed me working with Roller was that they were user focused. As the app was designed for mainly children who were deaf, they met, talked and above all, took very seriously the children's comments on the design of the app. All very impressive.

The app itself "BSL Education" is excellently designed, and allows growth and is certainly user led.
