I would give zero stars if it was possible. The way we have been treated since we submitted our application for an emergency grant almost 5 months ago, it's the epitome of unprofessionalism. I'd like to clarify that our disappointment is NOT because we received a negative answer, but because we received NO answer at all. The way they advertise themselves makes us believe that we are going to be taken seriously, instead we have been completely ignored and every time we've tried to inquire about the status of our application, they've made us feel like "this is free money therefore you have to put up with whatever". The decision for my application has been delayed for months. I applied August 17, 2022 and still haven't received any answer. Encouraging business owners to apply for a grant and not even reviewing the application, and then making us feel like this is a charity and we should put up with the lack of professionalism, says all I need to know about this company's work ethic and transparency. Thank you for not even giving us an answer. We applied for the grant in good faith and even when it would have resolved our emergency, knowing that it comes from an agency that treats us like beggars; makes me feel better about being completely ignored. I do not recommend anybody to apply. Avoid the stress.
