Big waste of time trying to get onto a clinical trial! Spent a total of 3 hours on a phone call, was told I was accepted for a screening and it would take place the following week. They then changed there mind a few minutes after, and I was told I would be ineligible for the trial. Waste of time, and do not recommend.

Update to HMR response:

Thats not true! Why Lie? You called me again, after booking me into a screening the following week. Not to tell me I did not qualify, but instead asked me to complete a second questionnaire! The first questionnaire I completed I passed the criteria, and was booked for a screening.

Also your logs differ from my account on how long I spent on the 5 different phone calls. In addition, I spent over 1hr at my local surgery to get the required information you needed from my GP about my Asthma medicine. So yes! I definitely did waste over 3hrs, bending backwards for HMR. This is also the second time HMR medicines have messed me around.

Not great. The rules seem to have changed and endless phone calls are now permitted on the wards. I spent two weeks opposite someone who could not shut up. Nightmare.

Cannot recommend HMR enough. Have taken part in several trials with them over the years and they have always treated me amazingly. The staff are very professional and kind from recruitment to admissions. I have never had any issues and will continue participating as long as they will allow me! Highly recommend 5 stars.

. woke up sick day before dosed as reserve, tryingto explain to the doctor he inmediatly started saying I will not get paid at all if I refuse dose. Unethical behavior and shocking disgusting company. They dont pay screening, abusive consent form where they can reduce payment any amount they want wihout explaining. if you are reserve you will be completly ignored and not communication at all for a ridicolous amount of money that no compensate nothing all the problems you have to have to be available for them. DO NOT RECOMEND .If you want to be injured for life go here. If you want normal trials Go flux camp gsk or others.

I have completed quite a few trials with these guys and always have had a positive experience.
However, after they suffered a data breach/ hack I, along with many others, had our private medical and personal details leaked and sold on the dark web after HMR did not pay a ransom.
Since then I have had a major uptick in attempted frauds and scams, including having someone commit tax fraud using my name.
This happened over 2 years ago.
Since then there has been a claim for compensation made, which they and their lawyers have consistently obstructed and delayed. Repeatedly breaking legal commitments they themselves made to time frames so as to avoid going to court.
The case has now reached the point where going to court is now the only option, which will take years and cause more stress. They would rather wait to be forced to pay than to do the right thing.
The stress has been huge, which I imagine was part of their strategy.
So I advise you not to use this company.
They don't keep your private data safe, do nothing to stop it being sold on the dark web, and deliberately break promises and legal commitments to resolve the matter, and create as much stress as possible to those who've been affected.
It's a shame, as I always enjoyed my visits to them.
But this experience has shown them to be a company without an ethical outlook, which is surely critical for a company who asks you to literally put your life in their hands.

I have recently completed a clinical trial with HMR. It was my first ever trial anywhere and I can honestly say it was a very pleasant, positive experience. I was extremely well looked after. Nurses, doctors and all other staff were very caring, friendly, helpful and explained everything well. Food was lovely and wards, facilities etc. very clean. As an added bonus payment was really prompt. Thank you to all involved and hope to see you again in a few months.

I've done about 4 trials here and my experience has always been positive. The doctors, screening staff and trial technicians are all friendly and nice. The new staff seem well supported and the customer service is great in my opinion. Its not a 5 star hotel so I don't know what people expect but it's a great place to do a trial.

I did my first trial last weekend here, the staff were professional, fun and informative. I stayed for two days and one night, the food was surprisingly nice (I was expecting hospital food).

The ward was nice and spacious, due to covid they spaced us out with a bed in between all of us. There were plenty available sockets for all of the electronics you bring with you.

I met some really interesting people who were on the same trial, they made the stay so much easier and made time pass quicker. In my haste to leave I forgot to give out my contact information, I emailed HMR to get them to pass it on, but they said due to GDPR they were unable, which is a shame!
