UPDATE: Even worst customer service, received an email to say we need to buy a new system for £660 WITHOUT them knowing or looking at what the problem is. Said they did a manual update from their end, didn't work, oh you need to buy a new one. Are you joking?! Worst worst customer service I have ever received. Stay clear of these crooks.

Almost 5 weeks since logging first ticket. 4 weeks, to get a response, no resolution. Still no idea when our charger will be fixed or someone will actually respond to me. Doesn't help they are only open Monday - Friday when people are working, and up to an hour wait time on the calls. The stress of having to keep going to a relatives house to charge our car because we have nursery and school runs we need our car for. Shocking shocking shocking customer service.

Would put no stars as the company is a joke, been waiting 6 weeks for a repair! Since February of this year I have had 3 chargers they are not fit for purpose, I'm still unable to charge from home, all ohme are interested in is sending emails, sent my email saying the charger was still not working and have heard nothing! Don't do it, you will regret using this company, customer service a joke and not enough engineers who also agree the charger is not fit for purpose.

My Ohme charger failed after only one month…
My charger failed after only one month of installation. I've been chasing Ohme for 25 days emailing and calling them every working day, I've now reached the point of no reply to my emails and getting false promises over the phone. I can see this company going bust shortly. If you buy an Ohme charger then you're alone from day one. Special thanks to Mr Robert Robinson for ignoring all my emails.

I had an Ohme Pro charger installed three months ago and initially integrated it with Octopus Energy. Everything worked seamlessly—charging was accurate, and I couldn’t fault the system.

Recently, I switched to OVO Energy due to a competitive offer and integrated my Ohme account with OVO. That’s where the problems began. I noticed I was being charged significantly more than expected. After contacting OVO, they explained the setup needed to be configured correctly through Ohme.

I reached out to Ohme via email (Ticket #382045) and was advised by Beth that there were two ways to change suppliers: either they delete the account on their end, or I delete and recreate it myself with the same email and updated tariff information. I chose to delete and recreate my account—what a palaver!

Since then, I’ve been stuck. Despite multiple messages to Ohme’s customer support and Beth, I’ve been ignored, and the issue still hasn’t been resolved. The customer service is absolutely appalling, and I’m now stuck paying extortionate rates to OVO because Ohme’s system and support team have failed to fix the problem.

If you plan to switch energy suppliers in the future, avoid Ohme at all costs. The lack of support, unresolved issues, and the complexity of the process are simply not worth it. ?

Charger has been fickle and it's now completely dead. It's nearly a month and they still haven't sent anyone to remedy the issue and very slow response to email ticket and hard to get through on the phone.

Most Unprofessional and Conning Company
When a consumer raises a concern, the best response is to listen, and that is exactly what Ohme did not do. I have had a faulty EV charger for over 2 weeks now, and Ohme has just disappeared without a trace. Ohme will subcontract your purchase to the service provider called Providor, who will never attend the appointment, and God help you if you want to raise this with Providor. You are dealing with the most unprofessional and conning companies in the work of EVs.

Do Yourself A Favour and Buy from a reputable EV provider

On top of the comments below the terrible customer service we received when getting the product out charger does not work. Been offered another engineer visit which will be over 5 weeks from the original placement of the order. Avoid Ohme at all costs, not worth it in the slightest. The fact they outsource the installation to someone else (who also sub contracted it to a different engineer) made the whole thing a nightmare to contact them about. The engineer also made an incredible mess, did not do an instructional walk through of any kind and blasted music for the 4 hours he was there from a boom box, making it impossible to work from home.

I would personally not buy a home charger from these guys. An incredibly frustrating process, which involves paying large chunks of money upfront, no communication and being told you are in a queue / going to be waiting weeks and weeks. Customer service experience I had with them was not great, offering no help to find a solution to getting us confirmed dates, order numbers or any other information. Better off ordering the product from a third party and getting someone else to install it.

The Ohme Home Pro is a promising addition to the market of smart electric vehicle (EV) chargers. Boasting advanced features and intuitive controls, it aims to streamline the charging process for EV owners while providing flexibility and convenience. Here's a breakdown of its key features and performance:

Smart Charging Capabilities: The Ohme Home Pro excels in its ability to optimize charging schedules based on factors such as energy tariffs and grid demand. With its smart functionality, users can potentially save on electricity costs by charging during off-peak hours when rates are lower.

User-Friendly Interface: The device is designed with a user-friendly interface, making it easy for EV owners to monitor and control their charging sessions. The accompanying mobile app offers seamless connectivity, allowing users to remotely manage charging schedules and monitor energy consumption.

Compatibility and Integration: One of the notable advantages of the Ohme Home Pro is its compatibility with various EV models and charging infrastructures. Whether you have a Tesla, Nissan Leaf, or any other electric vehicle, this charger is designed to work seamlessly with your vehicle's charging requirements. Additionally, it integrates well with smart home systems, providing added convenience for users.

Build Quality and Durability: The Ohme Home Pro boasts a sturdy build quality, ensuring durability and longevity. Its robust construction makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, providing users with flexibility in placement options.

Negative aspect:

Despite its impressive features, the Ohme Home Pro falls short in one significant aspect: lack of support for solar integration. In an era where renewable energy sources are increasingly becoming popular, the absence of solar compatibility is a notable drawback. Many EV owners are inclined towards sustainable energy solutions, and the inability of the Ohme Home Pro to harness solar power for charging represents a missed opportunity. Integrating solar support would not only align with the environmentally conscious ethos of EV ownership but also potentially offer additional cost savings by utilizing renewable energy sources.

In conclusion, while the Ohme Home Pro offers several compelling features such as smart charging capabilities, user-friendly interface, and compatibility with various EV models, its inability to support solar integration is a notable drawback. Despite this limitation, it remains a solid choice for EV owners seeking a reliable and convenient charging solution for their vehicles.
