Exceptional Service from Start Communications

I recently had the pleasure of working with Start Communications, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Monty Hammond & Sons Funfairs is a family-run business based in Copthorne, we were in urgent need of a new phone system due to our outdated setup, which was causing numerous issues. We also required mobile access to our phone system for the sales and marketing function.

Richard came to assess our site, which presented its own challenges, but he approached the situation with a fantastic "can-do" attitude. He proposed a comprehensive solution that not only addressed our immediate problems but also prepared us for the upcoming transition from analogue to digital.

The installation process on the 26th February was handled by Shane, who was nothing short of remarkable. Even in torrential rain, he remained totally unfazed and kept a smile on his face, showing that nothing could affect his positive demeanour. His thorough work made the installation seamless, despite the weather conditions.

Additionally, Rosa in the office was a superstar throughout the entire sales and setup process. Her attention to detail is absolutely commendable and made the experience truly faultless.

So far, I’ve only had the pleasure of dealing with Richard, Shane, and Rosa, but I look forward to getting to know the rest of the Start Communications team. They have an outstanding crew, and their knowledge and high-level customer service have restored my faith in finding businesses that truly care. This transition, which could have been disruptive, was incredibly smooth and effortless, thanks to their support.

Our Residential Care Home became a customer of Start Comms in the summer of 2023, during the renovation of our premises. John & Chantelle took the time to find out about our requirements and helped us initially plan the installation of the Internet.

We had significant problems and delays with BT Openreach in installing a new Fibre line to the premises, which took nearly a year to sort out. Beverley particularly in the Support Team went over and above to escalate the problem with BT Openreach. She continued to be very professional in a frustrating process and her communication to me was excellent. The Start Comms engineer was on hand when required to help install the infrastructure internally and the Internet coverage and speeds throughout the building are now excellent.

Whilst the actual Internet provision has now only just begun, I'm sure the excellent service will continue in the future. Having had significant problems with a previous large corporate Internet provider, I think the current success of Start Comms is its responsiveness, knowledge and ability to manage customers expectations.
