I have mixed feelings about this venue It can be great for both performances and audiences alike comfortable table seating ,
adequate sized stage.

The main Hall is littered with local art & the bar is well stocked & the staff are super helpful.Having said that the venue has cancelled some acts short notice including one which I was involved in.

Me and some friends went to a barn dance evening held here in Feb and had a wonderful time! Toilets were clean, drinks were really reasonably priced, the location was great and the staff were lovely. However the caller of the barn dance was a bit pants, confusing and short tempered with people.
If there was another caller I think everyone would have had a 5 star night.

A wonderful venue in the center of Taunton. The space is airey and well lit. Full of beautiful natural light throughout the day. Perfect for a gallery.

The current exhibition is a showcase by Tauntons "Go Create " members and has some superb pieces work on display. Sculpture, paintings and photography.

The venue also hosts live performances, bands, musicians, open mic nights and relaxed poetry evenings.

A licensed bar also serving great tea and fine coffee.

On my visit I was greeted by a the owner who is full of enthusiasm for the works on display.

It is a pleasure to visit and I shall be recommending this venue to others.

My friends and I often come to events here and they are always fantastic. Always a wide variety of events in the calendar from 80s disco to barn dance to surf rock. I've also attended their life drawing classes which are excellent and there is normally an art exhibition on the walls at the same time. Bar staff are always super friendly and they have a great selection of reasonably priced drinks. A really important venue for Taunton providing exciting nightlife, a space for community engagement and championing local talent.

Excellent venue supporting local arts, music and comedy. Recently attended a carribean dance class and a cocktail and piano events. Friendly staff and low inclusive prices. A real gem but venue under threat needs to be supported to keep it going in current times.

We had a lovely evening watching Slinky Machine at the CIC. Great atmosphere, very friendly and good bar, where those who are driving can even get a delicious hot chocolate if you want one!

CICCIC (pronouced Kick-Kick) is Somerset's best arts centre providing fantastic music, comedy, art shows, classes and so much else. My favourite place!
