Hats off to Alex for making my latest upgrade to Reflect X seem so effortless. Cheers!
I've been using Macrium Reflect for about 6 years. This product is routinely updated and the support team appears to be very transparent about what each update includes. I've not needed tech support very often (which is awesome in itself) but each time I've engaged them I've been impressed with their responsiveness and expertise. I believe Macrium absolutely deserves to be recognized as a serious Backup and Recovery software solution provider. It would not surprise me at all to see Macrium Software appear in the Gartner Magic Quadrant some day.

I replaced a mother board on a PC, so Macrium quit working and refused to accept any of my licence keys. I contacted the Macrium help line and Alex was able to get me up and running again in a few minutes. Kudos to their excellent help desk and Alex. A big raspberry for doing this to me in the first place. Now I have to deal with Microsoft and the fact that they are destroying my computer and their help desk has been non-responsive. They are also shutting down Office and Windows, but their support to fix it has been non-existent. Two full days of unpaid work so far.

Fantastic customer support! Macrium service is as great as their software. I bought my first Macrium Reflect license after a 30-day trial. Within a few days I decided to add a 2nd license for a 2nd machine. I submitted a support request for help with the transaction. Alex replied quickly and helped me buy a package of 4 licenses for the price of 2. What a deal! So now I also have a license available for my existing 3rd computer, and a 4th license for a machine I'll likely need in the future. The entire transaction was done in just a few minutes. Macrium support responded immediately to a question I had. I was impressed with their fast response. I have now used the tools for several backups. The tools is excellent. It is easy to use. Obtaining copies from the backup files also works well. This is a great product with excellent customer support.

With regard to a Google Review posted 08/19/24 about Macrium Software, I wish to modify its original content. Without divulging specifics, let me just say that without the intervention of Alex Gray, Head of Marketing and Hannah Bergin, Customer Success Manager a controversial incident that occurred between myself and technical support might well have gone completely off the rails. Essentially what happened is that the customer opened a technical support ticket and was subsequently informed that customer support had expired (support on a lifetime license is limited to 12 months after purchase) and the ticket would not be further addressed. I was totally taken by surprise to learn of this as their user portal suggested my support was still active. One thing led to another and before long, an otherwise previous normal business relationship had deteriorated to the point of near collapse. The original rather scathing Google Review that I posted caught the attention of management. Realizing that a bug in their systems had misinformed the customer, the two individuals previously named took swift and appropriate action to extinguish the flames. To Macrium’s credit, they took ownership of the problem and sought to regain the customer’s trust in their product and support. Eventually cooler heads prevailed and a mutually beneficial compromise solution was reached.
