We used Firefish for a few weeks but were disappointed by its performance and lack of alignment with our processes.

Pros:
- Smooth onboarding and sales experience
- Friendly support team
- Offers PERM and CONTRACT workflows

Cons:
- Oversold but underdelivered on key features
- CV parsing is ineffective, capturing only candidate names
- Functions are very basic and don’t provide much value
- Slow system with outdated interface
- Limited search functionality and hidden notes
- Very restrictive workflows with almost no customisation

Summary:
Firefish didn’t meet expectations and was far from the robust ATS/CRM system we hoped for. Testing is not allowed before purchase, and the contract cannot be terminated early, so I wouldn’t recommend it. They force you to use it even though its not fit for purpose.

Firefish was promised as a state-of-the-art system in all online presentations, but it’s the complete opposite. The software feels outdated and slow compared to modern CRMs. It's clunky, with inadequate search functionality and limited customization options. Loading delays are common, making it frustrating to use. We couldn´t test the software at all until after signing a 12-month contract, which locks you in even if it's not the right fit. We quickly realized it wasn’t for us, too difficult too use and the slow processes & workflows for our needs but were stuck with no way out. Avoid at all costs.

AVOID. Pretend to be a small business that cares for small businesses, but are the total opposite. System still not fully operational after a month - not worth the migration costs to move from other suppliers with. Am now left in an even worse position than when I was with the dumpster fire that is Vincere/Access, which I didn't think was even possible.
