Swipii, that cute little octopus - what a cracker of a resource he is! As one of the Techy People at The Crib Community Coffee House I get to see all the stats and figures and all the goings on that this lil guy brings to the table. At The Crib we are part of a small town community where super market giants have started to creep in and so peoples loyalty to local stores has been difficult to secure due to cheaper deals and what not - we saw this as a great opportunity to get the ball rolling in the town with a loyalty card that is tailor made for us not just as an individual town but as individual stores under one banner and had the same power as something as big as the names on the high street.
With Swipii in our coffee house we were able to draw out our own personality on our rewards thanks to the team at Swipii HQ - from a free High 5 to having a half hour barista training session or even as simple as a breakfast on the house!
Our biggest concern within the town was how our typical clientele would react to something as tech savvy as Swipii due to having such a wide age range from school kids right through to our elderly customers. Our fears were put to bed when within only 3 months we had reached 300 individual users. The beauty of this is that only a handful of those customers couldn't utilise the tablet personally due to having no email address - this was excellent news for us in such a rural environment and so many elderly customers walking through our doors. All our customers love the concept, its simplicity and the fact that there is no spam is only a bonus! Those that had any sort of queries or difficulty operating took no time at all to figure out the ease of use after one of our baristas took 30secs to show them how easy it is and they have had no problems afterwards.
As a business our next steps have been telling other shops around us about how great we have found Swipii and how our footfall has increased between new customers loving the loyalty aspect and the already loyal customers loving the freebies that we feel they deserve for coming in and spending more time with us at The Crib. If we can encourage other businesses to join Swipii around us it only makes the loyalty stronger to our town and the investment within our boundaries - less doors closed on empty shop units must be a good thing!
As an extra side note for anyone wondering about the guys at Swipii HQ - They are fantastic, at the drop of a hat they can be on the case to solve any problems and queries - five star service! Really great staff and based in the UK which is always a bonus when dealing with any issues!
We now can't wait to start utilising the email service to give our loyal customers a special surprise once a month - They deserve it for keeping it local ☺
