We stayed here on a school trip and it was a very depressing experience. Let me just start by saying that it was VERY unhygienic in the rooms. I personally lifted up my mattress and saw a pile of dirt due to this I had to move bunk beds. All around the edges of the bed there were dust and I was feeling very sick.
Onto the bathrooms .... it was a distgrace! From mold underneath the sicks to cob webs on the light. And also the roft was peeling off and was looking like it was going to collapse. The cleaners didn’t do a great job as there was brown and yellow stains on the shower floor and cotton pads stuck to the wall. The blue mat that we had to use for the shower was FULL of dirt. And not to forget there wasn’t any soap to wash your hands with after using the toilet so we had to improvise and use our own stuff.
Also, there was only 1 choice of food you could have in the cafeteria and if you didn’t like it you were left hungry throughout the day and the food were full of oil and there wasn’t any healthy choices that even left people feeling sick.
Overall, the activities were exceptionally amazing and my friends and I had a lot of fun , although there was a lot of simple mistakes that could be easily fixed that you would expect in a normal/ decent hostel.

ESA people very kind and polite. Establishment reachable by taxi or using connectors from didcot parkway. There is a little cafeteria inside where it is possible to have lunch (included vegan dishes) or just a cup of tea.
