So disappointed as most painful bed ever. Virtually no sleep as bed was so hard and lumpy. Maybe they kept the original bed from the crew. It was certainly not big enough for 2. The items left eg biscuit and tea bags looked so old I was glad I bought my own. They had reed diffusers everywhere trying to mask the fusty smell and it was very irritating |There was one mirror that was placed so high I could just see my forehead. It is a quirky place. It was nice walking around the place and the vibrant bar was open but these rooms are not for comfort or sleep

Booked as we had a wedding in Stratton Audley. Everything you could want for a few nights stay. Clean. Furnishings are top notch. Shower is powerful and water was hot! There is lots to see here and the buildings have QR codes to find their history. Don't miss the wriggly monkey distillery and take advantage of the food trucks they have on Friday and Saturday nights. Would stay again.

Being a classic car enthusiast Bicester Heritage is one of my "Happy Places" Have stayed numerous times over the last 5 or so years and always enjoyed the accommodation and the hyper friendly staff (especially guard dog Shelby) and businesses on site. One fly in the ointment this time is the "new" booking agency Heritage have moved too. Found their pricing confusing and arbitrary (how can two identical rooms be different prices for the same days). Clearly the New booking agency is looking to maximise revenue (no doubt to cover their additional margin) - but the rooms are not competing on the same proposition as the local Premier Inn / Travel Lodge or other local hotels with Breakfast, Bar etc. Plus who's ever been charged £60 to clean your hotel room? Disappointing development.

Fascinating location on old WW2 RAF site. It's still an airfield, but the original site buildings have been converted with minimal external changes to house motor vehicle businesses. And as the web site says, motoring of the 'past present and future'. So it's a great destination for petrol heads. The accommodation is excellent, and a visit to the Wriggley Monkey brewery is a must for great beer. There's also an excellent food truck which parks at the brewery on certain days. During our visit the food was South African 😋

We stayed two nights on a Saturday and Sunday, in the Duclos accommodation. The en suite accommodation was beautifully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. ||||It was fun being able to walk around the site on Monday morning, with the owners of the various classic vehicle business units happy to talk and (where possible) show us the work in progress. The buildings are thoughtfully preserved and still retain the appearance of their original military use (loved the fact that "Classic Oils" is housed in the lubricant store!) but stepping inside they are refurbished to a very high standard.||||This is a must for anyone who enjoys spending time with classic cars or motorcycles, or anything with an engine.

Whole experience was fab. The area is fantastic and so beautiful. Room was pretty clean with a good bathroom. Room is fairly small but more than fine for a couple. Only vice was we felt the bed wasn’t the comfiest. Would recommend for the experience

Stayed here with family whilst in Bicester for work. It was stunning, located on a restored old RAF base, the surroundings feature glorious old cars and airplanes. The management were very welcoming and the was 24/7 security on site. The room was very well finished with all the mod cons and even an umbrella to use if it rain when running out to the car (which could actually be parked right outside). If your staying in the area look no further than here. Highly recommended.

Unique and different place to stay. We enjoyed seeing the vintage cars about the grounds. However, it was very quiet as it was a weekend and not much was happening. Gate guards were extremely helpful and kind. Thank you!||As for the accommodations, style was high, substance & comfort low. For example, the bed was too small for today's couples. A queen or king size would be much better. In general the place is smaller than how it appears in the photos. ||Also, the shower is a dangerous hazard as the tray is extremely slippery. A bath mat at the very least is needed. The bathroom tile grout had some mild. Further, the radiator towel rail was scorching hot. Literally could not touch nor figure out how to turn it off.||And in fact, the entire place smelled of mold and dust. My husband was continually sneezing and suffered terribly inside the room. It may be the very thick, heavy velvet curtains and velvet covered chairs - whilst very stylish not very practical. Velvet is notorious for being difficult the clean, and collects dust, mites, etc like a magnet.||The small kitchen was handy, but items from a previous guest were left in fridge and some plates/cutlery not clean. A larger bin or extra bin bags would be useful, particularly for guests staying for more than 1 night. Lastly, as it's an old building with poor insulation, a fan would have been very welcomed on hot, muggy days & nights.||So overall it was unique and interesting, but not very comfortable.
