Went to their tech meetup event in London. The event webpage says "meet up with some of the world‘s leading tech companies as well as leading startups in the tech industry."

There was not a single tech company or startup there, all recruitment companies or similar. I paid £5 to attend the event, I think it was falsely advertised.

The lady on the door who works for Tech Meetups said "there are tech companies here because they're represented by the recruiters". Would not recommend to attend if you're looking to meet with tech companies that are recruiting.
