I met Melanie Barnes some years ago, so when I wanted ideas about remodelling our en-suite, she was the obvious choice. Melanie is a good communicator, essential for me, and has a bubbly personality. Melanie helped us design and furnish our Georgian town-house. Having never previously worked with an interior designer, we were a bit nervous about being talked into things we didn't want, but I can honestly say that she is lovely to have around. She really listens to what you want and then turns it into something much better. She's very flexible in the way she works, and will take on as much or little as you need - no hard sell. Ours was a large project, so we worked together for 4-5 months, and we felt we got excellent value and a great result. However, I know she's done smaller projects with the same attention and enthusiasm which makes her so good to work with.
