Pete was recommended to me by a friend who I'd worked with for years.

I called upon Pete's services when my wife and I decided to purchase our first property together this year 04-2025. The estate agents recommended their guy, whom I accepted as matter of courtesy but I knew my guy was the right man for the job so to speak. I got Pete on the case as we'd only got one possible option for the mortgage lender, not satisfied with just one (obviously I wanted a comparison, I got Pete onto it). Pete was able to identify the same lender in the market but also gave me other options in case the initial/first lender did not work out.

Needless to say, the whole process was not as straight forward and easy as one would think. There were various hurdles and speed bumps thrown in our direction from seller/developer and agents on their side to our estate agents. At any one time I'd have multiple individuals chasing for updates and pushing for answers. It wasn't long before I asked Pete to take over and fight the fires on my behalf. Pete, being the awesome legend he is, took this on and kept me in the loop.

I could write a novel on the whole process as it literally almost broke me, without Pete in my corner, my wife and I would not have managed to exchange and complete on our new apartment.

One thing I'd like to add as a reflection of Pete, the estate agents guy offered his services free, so basically, he waivered his fees. When I got Pete involved, he noticed this and agreed that he too would honour this as part of the service. As I've mentioned, I could not have done this without Pete and to that end, I not just agreed to, but insisted I pay his fee for his services.

I’ll repeat this again, Pete is amazing at what he does, words do not come close to describing how much of an absolute legend he is, always willing to go the extra mile and happy to provide his help and services where he can. He is definitely my "go to man" for any financial advice - Mortgages, pensions etc. In fact, Pete is now one of my speed dials, yes, I'm old school, I still use speed dials on my mobile.

Impeccable service, Faultless. Olympus Financial Planning is now my go to. Working with Pete to get our house remortgaged was effort free yet the results were the best we could achieve. Pete was very helpful to my partner in I in brokering our mortgage deal and arranging all necessary insurance related to the purchase of our house. He also then helped us with life and critical illness cover for myself and was very patient and helpful during what was a lengthy back-and-forth process with the provider.

It was always easy to get in touch with him via either phone, email or online call; so if we had any questions we never had to wait long for Pete to get us the answers. Pete was great at explaining the different financial products and the process in a way that a couple of stressed-out first-timers could understand easily, and it was clear he was motivated by serving the clients' interests best, not by the size of his own commissions.
