For the ‘Pocket House’ project, StudioDH / THIS architecture demonstrated unparalleled skill and innovation, making the seemingly impossible, possible. Nestled on an extremely challenging site – tight, landlocked, surrounded by listed buildings, and situated within a conservation area – they crafted a marvel. Their concept for a 2-bedroom house, complete with a magical hidden courtyard and a rooftop spa, is nothing short of architectural genius.

Their ingenuity extended to maximizing the property’s aspect; they skilfully directed all views from the property upwards towards the abbey, capturing spectacular vistas while ensuring complete privacy from the private residential gardens below. This thoughtful approach not only solved a complex problem but did so with elegance and creativity.
