Bad development and changing hands has led to another poor product. Yet one more company who holds you to the fine print, service is terrible and trying to shop with your feet and leave even harder. A clunky slow product, bad aftersales, a poor contender amidst some far better and cheaper products.... AVOID!!!

I agreed to have ACT software installed on my personal computer whilst working for a sole trader. When I wanted help it was nearly impossible to get to speak to someone. I had a real problem connecting ACT to my outlook and after about 8 hours of different people trying to resolve they couldnt - so that was a waste of time. When I left, I asked for help uninstalling ACT and was told they couldnt help. They sent me e mails telling me what to do but unless you are a computer whiz it made no sense whatsoever. I took my lap top to a professional computer company who after 3 days of trying to remove admitted they were stumped too. Apparently the way they described it was imagine the world - all the little towns - ACT had got into every single bit and they couldnt remove everything. The worst thing was that it was stopping me using Business Contact Manager through Outlook as error ACT7 appeared everywhere. The Gentleman I used to work for rang and gave them permission to talk to me and help but they wouldnt.
My advice is dont install EVER on a personal laptop as mine is now knackered. Better still find another CRM software to use.

I have been a User of ACT for 15 years. The current version is awful - MASSIVE faults with the software. It fails to provide basic functionality (e.g. mailmerge). Swiftpage's proposed solution is for me to pay for a second time for the next version - so buy one which doesn't work, and then have to buy another with no guarantees that it will work. Appalling. If I bought a car that didn't work the manufacturer wouldn't expect me to shell out a second time for a second new car, so why does Swiftpage take this attitude?

The tech guys from Swiftpage are simply THE BEST I.T support people I have come across. Their knowledge and expertise is second to none and they all know how to deliver first class customer service too!

I have used act for years , but I think is time to change, their customer support is HORRIBLE ! TECH support does not exist, not to mention you have to talk to a guy that barely speaks english !
for $40.00 dollars a month ?

WHAT A JOKE ! buyer beware !
I have called them 3 times today !! waited for over an hour and no one ever picked up !

Appalling Service. Phoned last week and left hanging for over half an hour. Hung up in the end. Tried logging call online, however nobody got in touch, Now tried calling again. Still holding on but unanswered as we speak after 10 mins!!

Tech support is horrible. We paid all of this money for ACT and you cant get in touch with them. If you submit a ticket, they never call back.

I wish I hadn't ever purchased ACT! The software is a antiquated and unreliable. The customer service just makes the whole experience worse.
