Communicated with Andrew about a keyboard fault with my ASUS ROG gaming laptop and managed my own expectations as I was sure the repair would be challenging (Nov 22), if only to get the replacement parts required.
After arranging to drop it off, I gained confidence in Andrew's ability and professionalism after he assessed the work (Dec 22) and I picked the laptop back up after a few days.
In the next couple of months (Feb 23), following acknowledgement that I needed a report of the damage and estimated repair costs by my insurer, I heard nothing, despite numerous emails, phone calls and voicemail messages left.
I'm very disappointed as I really trusted Andrew to help me with the laptop that I value greatly, or at least give me an assessment of cost/ time to repair instead of being ghosted.
I also find it strange that there is at least 2x 5 star review left here by the owner/repairer Andrew Simm and his brother. Obvious bias typifies dishonesty.

AMS delivered a computer package which not only met my budget but exceeded my expectations. They listened to and understood what I wanted (I am not remotely technical!) and then fully delivered. Excellent customer service throughout, exceptionally helpful and professional, taking the time to explain everything to me, nothing was too much trouble. This was a present for my son who is thrilled with his custom built computer and he also wanted to say "Great computer, recommended, everyone else should try AMS" .

I popped in for a mouse and keyboard and was given the top service ams customers keep going on about and it was amazing. Very knowledgble folk with a strong customer focus. My needs were met with high attention to detail and they went above and beyond to ensure i was making the right purchase. Overall i had a fantastic experience and have now become A regular.

A Gem of a chap owns this business. Andrew is helpful, professional and I would highly recommend him and his business for personal computer issues but also for your business. Andrew sorted our network issues in both time with little down time on our part.

I called asking if he could give advice, he said he'd need to see the computer. I asked if I could drop it in for him to look at, he proceeded to rant about how good he was and he had so many computers on his books. He could easily have just said 'sorry but i'm busy' but instead he was rude.

In comparison, I then called AU computers on glebe road who were very friendly and gave advice over phone about potential issues and a fix or two i could try myself. Failing that, I could bring it in later today for him to look at. Very helpful, and more importantly very friendly, unlike AMS.
