Terrible experience with the "support" of this company.
When I decided to buy a portrait pro license I asked a question about the wrong application of VAT and they have not solved it.
I have tried to contact them and they do not respond. The person who attended the incident in the support chat, has disappeared... no answer.
For this reason I will not buy software from this company.
Now I fully understand the illegal downloads, the cracked programs, and that this software is "available" without "cost".

They really have no interest in you buying their software, so don't do it, there are other options with better support and attention to their customers.

I found this software from Facebook AD, I bought the PortraitPro 17, I love this products so much. Since I do a lot of photo-retouching for my clients, it is fast and easy
However, I got a very bad experience when upgrading Studio edtion
it said that "Your original license is already version 17, which is the same as your version upgrade token is for."
But I bought version 17 Standard, but no idea why I wasn't unable to upgrade, and I emailed 10 emails and called many times, and have waited 3 days, still no one answers.
I just want to get the refund or fix the problems for my upgrading

Actually, the program is good as long as it works. I have been using it since version 17 and have purchased the upgrade to version 18. Unfortunately Anthropics does not get the license system under control. I had to re-license the program in March after the support sent me a new key, after several days. And now this key is not accepted by the server again. Unfortunately, it takes a long time for someone to answer from the support team. I consider if I hand over this matter to my lawyer because the license agreement clearly states that I can use the program indefinitely.

I have used Portrait Pro since 2010. It keeps on improving and results are fantastic. I thoroughly recommend it. I recently added Landscape Pro and Smart Photo Editor. I needed to use the Support area and have had a very unpleasant experience. 10 points for product, 1 points for the Support area.

After upgrading to version 19 of PortraitPro Studio I was very disappointed with the performance of the plugin. Initially, I was annoyed and I even wrote a bad review, however, Anthropics came up trumps.
I was contacted by the company and put in touch with there development team. We discussed the problem and I agreed to work with them to solve the problem. This exercise was a total success and the problem was totally solved.
I have been using version 19 now for some time. The original problem has gone and I have to say that it is now a firm favourite with me. The editing tools have been improved and the version is a worthwhile upgrade over version 18.
My thanks to the guys at Anthropics for their approach.

Great software for the price, company not so great. I'm not a pro but when I first heard about this software I took a chance and I was pleasantly surprised. As many people have mentioned the upgrade pricing, how often they are now asking you to upgrade, and finally this key issue are turning me off to this product. My last upgrade seems to have been right along the lines of many other people. First this ticket system. It wasn't through my email, that only told me to go check there ticket system, ill admit I'm paranoid, but I didn't like having to go logon onto there system. Why not just send me the information in the email? The responses where all within 24 hours on business days. I didn't have access to the old email account, that was the problem, but I also didn't even remember it. Finally did five days later and they took care of the issue. I saved all the info including the key.

Upgrades, when Adobe went to subscription only, I quit them. The upgrade cycle of companies is becoming too fast, they are holding things back to keep the upgrade process going. I know this isn't a lot of money, but I'm sick of the games.

So my decision on the three stars, first I don't get a lot junk mail from them, good. Second the product is good, and the upgrades so far have been worth it for me. Price is cheap considering what it does. Hate to have to say this but the customer service has been good compared to most people I deal with. One star for the key system they use, I don't like it, what happens when they go out of business? You get a new computer, or just need to do a reinstall, nope it's gone! Just like that, if you don't think it can happen do some research, big companies drop support for products all the time. Second star for upgrade frequency.

Portrait Pro is awesome. It really differentiates itself in both its usability and the control it gives you over the photo improvement process. I had to drop these guys a message regarding billing and the matter was resolved overnight. Very pleased with my purchase.

Purchased Gold Bundle of photo editing but found it is not useful for all photo projects. PortraitPro is a great tool but does not offer enough options for editing i.e., crepey necks. I want to return this bundle but to date, (2/16/2017 I have not been able to contact them. I sent an email through the License Manager and I am worried I will be stuck with this software if I don't return it before 30 days.

Go up
