I obtained several quotes for a Solar PV System, however Ask Renewables was one of the few that actually wanted to come out and do a site visit. Their surveyor Matt visited and discussed at length my options and the costings involved, he then went away and produced some full written proposals for me to decide on. These were left with me, with no pressure to buy etc. having compared the quotes and services provided, I had no hesitation in opting for Ask Renewables, their service was far superior and the quote very reasonable. The process of getting National Grid approval etc was then completed and a fitting date agreed. On the fitting day the team of two arrived and efficiently set about the process of installing the system, both were efficient and friendly. Within 5 or 6 hours the system was fully installed and fully working. Within a few days the commissioning pack and certificates arrived. Ask Renewables were professional throughout and gave a service second to none and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Ask Renewables was recommended by my brother who recently had a Solar system installed by them.
Tom came round to do a survey and subsequently provided me a quote. Absolutely no pressure selling and I considered the price good value.
On acceptance of the quote the office called to arrange a suitable installation date. Scaffolding was delivered a couple of days in advance to allow my builder to move some bathroom extraction vents from the roof.
Installation was smooth and the electrician was very accommodating by taking time to route solar panel cables via a void in the house wall.
Karyn and Samantha, in the office, were very quick and helpful processing the relevant documents.
I am over the moon with the installation. 6kW panels and 12kWh battery storage.
Even in December with low sun, the panels can generate well beyond 3kW. Batteries can also be fully charged using the cheaper Octopus Flux night-time rate. Then I use the batteries to hel power the house through the day.
I highly recommend Ask Renewables. A great company to do business with.

I contacted Ask Renewables after being recommended by my friend who had also had Ask to fit their panels. I was already in the process of buying batteries from another supplier but I am so glad that I swapped to Ask. Tom from Ask came around and discussed my requirements, and it was quickly obvious that the other company were overcharging for what I needed. I should say that English is not my first language so it was great that Tom was able to talk me through the process and clearly describe what I needed and what would happen.

We placed our order, and the installation team from Ask was brilliant, but that isn't where things ended. Tom and Samantha supported me through the process of getting set up with Octopus and switching over from my previous supplier so that I got the best from my system. It has been running now for several months and Tom and Samantha are always on hand if I have any questions. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Absolutely recommend Ask Renewables Ltd for solar and battery installations, I had a great experience with them and all the team.

First impressions when Matt came out to survey were very positive and much better than other companies who came out. I got 3 quotes from different companies and nothing wrong with any of them, just felt happier with Ask overall.

Once I decided to choose them to do my solar panels and battery install, I was informed every step of the way so that this went smoothly.

The installers and roofing team were great as well, just nice people and professional work standards and a job well done.

All paperwork was provided to ensure I have everything I need.

The install was only done in June 2023 and I've had no problems, but I've spoken to or emailed the team on several occasions and got a prompt response to answer any questions.

If you're looking at a solar project, consider Ask Renewables and get them round to quote!

ASK Renewables provided a top-class service from initial survey to installation. During the survey Matt was helpful and informative with no sense that he was pushing to sell. Through ongoing discussions we arrived at a system specification which I believe now to be just right. The installation team of three arrived early around 7.35, worked quickly and efficiently to install 12 panels and 2 batteries, and so were complete around 1pm. We were impressed with how quickly everything was done, and the guys were pleasant, helpful and courteous. Admin support from Samantha in the office has been excellent throughout as well. Overall, it's hard to fault the service from ASK – I would wholeheartedly recommend them. Well done all round!

ASK fitted a 14 panel/4 battery system to our house. I was impressed with the consultation we had from them - they worked out a number of options and gave us all the figures to make up our own minds, without any hard sell tactics. Communication about the process was good, especially when there were delays due to the national grid. When the day came for installation, the team were professional and got it all done that day. We were given a tutorial in how to use the app that comes with the system, and we've had several calls since then checking everything works and that we're making the most of the tariffs on offer

Despite it being the winter months we're already seeing a significant saving on our electric bills, and come the spring I think we'll be exporting more than we use.

I've recommended Ask to friends and family, and would have no hesitation in using them again (although given the 25 year life of the panels, that may not be for some time!)

Ask installed our solar panels and batteries a year ago. We were very happy with their speed, efficiency and the quality of work.
