We have used care line live for 3 years now, and the development and ease of use has been phenomenal, the customer care team is always really friendly and supportive, regardless of how frustrated i have been, and 99% its sorted quite quickly. i would love a HR tab on the Carers section, just to make it easier to sort information, and they are always open to ideas and some have been through development and i can see them in action today. to name a few staff who have been amazing, Colleen, Dec, Howell, Sean, Marie, and Merina. these are from across the company and have been wonderful in supporting me and listening to my lengthy ideas!

I have used a number of different systems, and the way Careline allows the care plan to be broken down into tasks is a cornerstone of the software. It’s great when staff can read the care plan in bite-sized pieces. For example, for one client, we have:

“Boil the kettle and allow it to cool, then make cordial from the cooled water (do not use tap water). The cordial ratio is 10% cordial to 90% cooled water.”

Additionally, the photo capability is fantastic, so is the payroll and invoicing integration.

With any software, there are always things you want for yourself and your own business. However, the developers are responsive, the help desk is amazing, and they are continually adding and updating aspects.

I’ve always believed that it is your systems that create processes, not what you write in policy documents, and those processes add to your culture and organisational expectations.

If you get a system that forces strong and robust processes, you get a culture of robust and strong compliance.

Systems seems good, its comes with many features. But not user friendly. Very complicated and limited support - 2 hours long onboarding and left more confused than before the session began. Far to much information that you can not follow along with as they go, because they have a lot of information to get through. I understand many places use scripts but the 2 hour video call seems very pointless if I'm to get the same information through links. If I had know this before purchasing I would not have joined. --

update: The team reached out and offered the extra help we needed. They took their time to show us how to set things up and handled my review amazingly. Excellent team!

Adapted to suit the care agencies needs! What a great little system that has been created. the pinpoint location of customers homes saves carers so much time. its great for safety too! when making changes to rotas the updates are almost instant. they are always looking to change / fix bugs and make the software better.
