We have found this software to be an invaluable addition to our setting. It is intuitive, easy to use, and provides complete transparency for all of our accountability recording.

The support from the company has been excellent. Johnny is always just an email away whenever we need advice or assistance, and their turnaround time for queries is incredibly quick — which is a huge help when managing a busy day nursery.

We looked for some kitchen compliance software to replace our paper systems for some time. Following a meeting with Johnny at CheckMate, we were absolutely sold on it being the system for us. It's early days in terms of implementation but so far the customer service element of the support has been great. I would recommend anyone have a chat with Johnny if they want to go digital with their kitchen records. It looks to be a robust system and I'm confident it will improve and streamline our services. It's also very competitively priced which is a bonus!

My team and I have been using the Checkmate software system since January 2025, when Danforth Care swapped our book system to the Checkmate app.
it is an excellent system, easy to use, and it can be customized to your needs. Johnny has been very helpful over the past few months, helping me out with anything that I needed to make the app and software work to its best potential in my unit. Getting other team members using the system helps make them accountable for completing checks because, after a day has ended, you can not go back and carry out any missed checks from the day before, like you can on a paper system
I would recommend this system to anyone who is looking to take their kitchen documentation to a digital platform. it has two sides to it, the first is the side where all the checks are recorded, and the second is an admin side where head chefs and managers can monitor if the checks are being completed and download and print reports.
