Our organisation needed a new website. Colin Kirby was brought in to understand our vehicle recovery business and create our main marketing messages for three distinct market sectors, each with their own desired outcomes.

I made contact with Colin because he had been highly recommended by another NCCA member and I knew it was high time that I got a professional appraisal of my existing marketing plans at what was an uncertain time after Covid Lockdowns. As Colin was already working with several operators in my service sector I felt he was more likely to have an understanding of my requirements than any random Marketing guru. He proposed initially creating a Mini Brand Strategy to assess my Strengths and Weaknesses vs any potential local competition so that I could fine tune current promotional material and branding generally to maximise effect. It soon became apparent that some of my print media lacked harmony with others and the website, especially with colour choice, logos, and artwork. In effect they did not sufficiently compliment each other to create an identifiable brand as they had been created over a period of several years without a branding review. In retrospect I should have realised this much sooner, but sometimes it requires the help from another pair of (professional) eyes to see what is obvious to others. With Colin's help and guidance I now expect existing clients to more easily recognise and remember our brand, and for prospective new clients to be even more confident that we offer an established and trusted service.
