Data Cabs came through three times for us! First, we needed transportation to a funeral, so it was critical we were on time. Our driver was bang on time right where we scheduled. The second time, we learned there are no Ubers in the local area, so we called them LAST MINUTE, and they were there within 10 minutes and this was to the airport, so it was a super important trip. We'll also be booking them to our second trip to the airport. Loved Data Cabs and would highly recommend. Oh! And they also shared with us the price of the airport trip up front, so no surprises!

On the many occasions I have visited Watchet, I have always used Datacabs. The service offered is second to none and Andy is a great guy - always happy to help and nothing is too much trouble. If you want a taxi firm then I can’t recommend Datacabs highly enough. Reasonably priced and fantastic service

We have stayed here just for a weekend and data cabs recommended by locals. We used data last night to go watch a band in watchet . This guy was prefect , on time and was a lovely genuine person. I recommend him to all in this area best you will find for sure. Enabled us to have a strss free night out 👍

£16 for a 2.6 mile round trip (doctors & back), where the driver is 5 mins late due to going to the wrong place, drives across a junction without stopping (twice) and when I checked to make sure they would be there to pick me up, I was told I had not been booked in, even after a text and a phone call.
I expected better from a local taxi service.

I don’t do many reviews but I feel this needed to be said. Due to Data Cabs being the only one that is local other than Cliffs Cabs I sometimes need to use the taxi service from time to time to make appointments, emergencies etc.

I attempted to make a reservation on the 23/09/2024 for the Taxi Driver to pick up my husband and my 4 year old son as it was really raining outside, they were very cold and the bus had not shown up yet. When calling the driver he had made me aware that he was nowhere near Williton and it would be quite some time before he would be back in town, which I thought that was fair enough until I was informed by my husband, Oscar, that he was seen in Williton 10 minutes later. At the time I chalked that up to maybe he got back to Williton sooner than expected etc.

Now today, my husband and 4 year old child made a reservation to be picked up in Williton at St. Peters School on the 25/09/2024 at around 3PM. Again it was raining, not only did the driver not show up at the designated spot at the agreed time, he conveniently left a text message telling us to use a “different service in future”. Oscar had waited an extra 30 minutes in the rain with a cold 4 year old before calling and the taxi driver did not try to resolve the issue or miscommunication.

When using this taxi service before the above incidents the drivers attitude/behaviour stunk, showed a lack of care of others around him. If you want a Taxi driver who is friendly, honest, timely, and sticks to their word look somewhere else.

Date Cabs- Do not worry I will not use your services again. Oscar was where he said he was, do not pin your lack of actions onto your customers!

I would love to see that footage, but of course this is all here-say at this point, yes you called me twice. After 5PM. Do you know what I do for a living? Of course not, I make crime reports on behalf of the City of London Police from 11AM-8PM. I apologise for not answering my phone in a timely manner to continue this dispute.

Now, Oscar is many things but not showing up is not one of them he made sure to be there at the appointed time and I can acquire footage from the council and the school if that’s what this is about but it is not. What this is about is that the said review has made you look bad and you need to appear that you were in the right, which you were not. Oscar has schizophrenia so he struggles with his phone so I can apologise for his lack of telephone communication but considering you have a laminate on your dash stressing not to put negative reviews before speaking to you speaks wonders about yourself and your business.

The underhanded comment at the end of your address was unprofessional and not necessary, before you jump the gun and assume a situation get all of the facts before drawing an accurate conclusion. I check all of my voicemails and noticed that you did not leave your name, number and a brief message in which I could call you back on.

In regard to the first semi-issue I had, I did mention that I did not have enough information and had given you the benefit of the doubt which I can say I was not afforded such treatment by yourself.

-Also we have double checked Oscar’s voicemails and no message was left as you have claimed in your previous correspondence.

Stayed in the area for the week in a remote location with no car, Andy was amazing and picked us up / dropped us off a few times this week, helpful friendly and great service 👍🏻 will defiantly use again when back in the area
