This review is in regard of the customer experience I endured with this retailer.
I have purchased goods from this company in the past, I now know as long as you have no problems with your purchases and delivered goods, you would not suspect the total lack of post purchase customer service ,apathetic response, disregard and non concern for a customers concerns with a bulk delivery of goods, that totally fail to meet the customers expectations, are of a quality that make them unusable, structurally unsound, unsafe and are of no use for the intended project.

A while after delivery I had the time to properly inspect the purchased goods and found them to be as stated above.
I called the retailer to explain my concerns and dissatisfaction with the goods, the female told me they are what they are, when I stated the intended use of the goods she stated they are no good for that,
When I asked why was I not advised of this upon purchase what the goods were for, she replied it is not my job to give you advice I just sell the goods it is up to you what you use them for,
When I stated I wished to return the goods as they are of no use, are unfit for use , are structurally unsound, and completely rotted, she stated I will have to call you back.

Unsurprisingly 4 hours later I had to call back the same female gave exactly the same responses as above, but added I would be expected to pay 25% of the original cost for them to be collected. I stated that I believed this to be a bit spiteful as the goods are of no use, she again replied they are what they are as I have already told you,
She then passed the phone to her husband who repeated almost all as stated above, stated 25% for them to be collected and I should have read there terms and conditions, he also added that he would rather not have them back.
I explained I don’t want them returned for a refund I with to exchange them for a replacement and pay the extra cost for the replacement items, I was informed of the extra cost of replacements plus 25% original cost surcharge for the original items which in fact were of less use than a chocolate teapot, and asked how do I wish to pay.

I reluctantly had to pay for the goods return as I had no means of returning them myself.

Would I recommend this retailer to anyone, in all honesty no not even to someone I haded immensely.
I would advice from experience check the goods being delivered meet your expectations and requirements prior to them being unloaded if not refuse delivery and save yourself 25% of the original cost which I have been told are in the terms and conditions and “They are what they are” tterms and conditions.

What a find!! Only went for 4 bits of wood they sell everything!! Friendly service on a freezing day and local. Will be going back. Great.

Love the place. It's a local B&Q type of place, but better. If you want a one metre piece of timber, they will cut it for you. No need to buy 6 x 2 metre lengths. Friendly & helpful staff as well.

Absolutely atrocious customer service, no anticipation of helping whatsoever when all we wanted was something so minimal.

<'No only if it won't fit in your car'. >'I literally need a piece of wood cut in half, don't even want the offcut if that would benefit you or someone else, happy to pay for the privilege also - I unfortunately don't have access to an electric saw'
