booked a car with budget and found out they wanted 1500€ deposit and i couldn't use my wife's card so i called enterprise help line after cancelling budget. checked regarding costs and cards ,deposit was assured it was ok so booked on line turned up at Dublin airport branch and handed over my card for payment and deposit. was told because it wasn't a credit card i was unable to hire the card because it is an airport branch and only take credit cards. asked could i pick up from swords the assistant checked and said i could used my debit card if i had proof of employment. as i am retired i was unable to hire the car. i went to AVIS two doors down boom car no problem. still waiting for enterprise to refund my 100€. AVIS from now on. i only ever used enterprise there add on tv is utter pants.
