Avoid at all costs. Should I have read the reviews I’d of never used this company. Sent my decks off 5 weeks ago. Was told that it would take 7-10 days tune around time. Unanswered emails, phone calls are pleasant but full of false promises. Never get updated on items sent. Do not recommend

UPDATE: so I had had enough last Friday, which was a week ago! Asked for my item back from them, they said that’s fine they would send them back, I asked when I can expect them back as I need them, they advised that it would the
Tuesday. I received an email Monday advising my order had been shipped. It is now Friday so I have rang them back up, and they have now advised that there is no notes on their system regarding my items being dispatched. They LIE through their teeth to get you off the phone. Advised to me in the phone she would see what’s going on with the technician! Not worth all the time an stress this company has caused!

I made an inquiry regarding replacement of a battery for ipod classic on April 30 and subsequently received a phone call from Molly, a very pleasant woman,who sent me a QR code and I sent my device off to York.
I received an email/photo saying device received and I would be informed of progress
Today is Tuesday, June 10,six weeks later ,and several emails and phone calls later I am still ipod-less without a plausible reason why.My emails go unanswered and I receive promises over the phone.
I regret the whole shabby episode and sincerely wish that I had never made that initial enquiry.
I am pretty certain that if I had performed in this manner whilst at my employment I would have been shown the door .
Therefore I would advise anybody contemplating dealing with this "company"to go elsewhere.

Absolutely perfect! My dads old Ipod Classics battery was completely dead, and with my dad's collection of over 1000 songs listed some hard to find to listen to now...we all thought they were gone lost to a very old battery! Gamer Tech was fantastic from start to finish, Gavin had done my repair and the same day had it shipped back to me. It's one of the best things I've done for my dad's birthday and he will be over the moon!
Gamer Tech kept me well informed throughout via email, and yes I did read the previous reviews and I'm so happy I got my it fixed and working hence five stars!!!!

Called on spec with my iPhone that wasn’t charging, I’m due into hospital tomorrow for a major operation and I should have sorted before today but they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Excellent service, friendly staff, can’t recommend highly enough. Literally sorted while I waited - when they handed the phone back it was that quick I thought they were going to say they couldn’t do anything with it! Thanks to you I now have a phone that I can keep charged and keep in touch with everyone. Thank you!

Was extremely nervous shipping my PS5 to York from Hull but they made the experience really reliable by having the package tracked and taking pictures and emailing me once they had received it. They also kept me posted along the way too, once fixed and after, to make sure everything was running fine and gave me a call after to let me know it was all okay and if they could ship it back. I sent it off on the Thursday, they emailed with all the updates on Friday and I received my Playstation back on the Saturday morning and so far everything is working perfectly. Would definitely recommend them, price was reasonable and got my playstation back quicker than I was expecting! Brilliant service.

Avoid avoid avoid. I have reported this firm to the trading standards. Took diagnostic fee and claimed a new screen would be required for my iPad repair, but after months of chasing I was told it hasn’t arrived and their supplier won’t ship another one until the parcel is either located or declared as missing by the courier. I strongly suspect (given the countless other reviews reporting the very same issue and surely no one’s customer service can be that bad?!) that gamer-tech had no intention of fixing my iPad and were more than happy just to pocket the diagnostic fee.

Please please please avoid using these bunch of rogue traders.

I used them 2 years ago for my PS4 which they fixed fine. but sent off a gaming laptop in November for the screen to be fixed, a month and an additional £40 later got it back, in 2 corners of the screen its faded.... I am worried if I send my laptop back now within the warranty that it will be months before I get it back

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY DO NOT USE
I sent a TomTom sat nav in a month ago to have a new charge port fitted, to date i have had one reply to a message i sent saying they were waiting for someone to look at it.
It appears they are happy to take the initial diagnostic amount then nothing. Sad thing is the sat nav worked in its cradle i just could not update it.
