These guys have been amazing. Grant was a legend. Explained everything and was always helpful with questions and queries. I had a 3.8-4.1 conversion done on a 997.1. Drove it home yesterday. It feels like a new car! Fantastic work, customer service was perfect and the end product is just as described. Thanks again.

Well just picked up
My Boxter 2001 3.2S had engine conversion from 3.2 to 3.7 - BHP increased but most importantly torque across rev range and through all gears.

Took a bit longer than expected but it was worth the wait as the car is now really sharp and even pulls in 6th well.

The bigger after market throttle body that was in there taken out and reverted to standard size for Boxter S 2001 and engine completely rebuilt and bored - works well with aftermarket exhaust that had already been fitted and the sound of engine and exhaust is incredible and it's even popping a bit on deceleration .

Whats really good is that if driving at low revs in 5th and 6th it's quiet and very normal and driveable but if you decide to drop gears and put foot down it turns into a different animal .

Its not cheap to do particulalry on a car that's worth between 5 and 7k but wow does it change the car into something special and you would be hard pressed to find a car second hand that has that performance and uniqueness and mid engine for 30k plus

If you ever have a problem or concern with your Porsche in particular the 997 with the bore score issue you need to use these guys. I did 6 years ago and the car drives better than ever. The team at Hartech are superb,I highly recommend this company definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spoke to Grant today for some advice on a borescope image. Could not have been more helpful. Advised me not to be concerned and enjoy the car. One of the most helpful Porsche specialists around. Although my query was about possible bore scoring and their rebuilds are their most famous service they are a Porsche specialist who deal with all aspects of Porsche servicing and repair. Highly recommended.
