After months infact years of shocking Care in our community from both Council Care to Private we finally found Helping Hands for my 89yr old mum…. Wow!!!! They are just AMAZING!!!! They are the kindest most caring ladies with our mum! Nothing is too much trouble? What ever she asks they deliver. In the past other Care have point blank refused to maybe peg abit of washing out, make a cuppa and slice of toast ‘ because we are only here to shower you’!!!!! Appalling!!!
They are lead by an amazing management team who reply to messages etc immediately
Mandy is just fab!! Definitely leading by example!!!! Nothing is too much trouble for her and we as a family are very grateful to her and her fab team!! Please consider this Care if like us you have failed to find such in the past? Our loved ones deserve this kind of care and support ❤️

5 stars isn’t enough, if it was 10 stars I would give the company 12, my carers kindness and generosity of spirit go far beyond there job description, I look upon my carers as genuine friends because they have given me genuine friendship in return, when I first had helping hands as my carers from a previous company, I had gone down hill because of there lack of care and attention but now I am healthier in mind and body than I have been for years. The management team can’t do enough for me to make my life easier and keep in regular touch with me to make sure that I am alright and I feel that they have also become friends too!

Whilst the staff are very friendly and good at their job the office are terrible at keeping to times that have been agreed , leaving vulnerable individuals waiting over an hour behind scheduled visits , never reply to calls when they say they will .

The best care company in Derbyshire i'd argue. and the carers themselves are absaloute angels. Kind, sweet and friendly they are really motivated by a love for what they do and a concern for the persons wellbeing, unlike other companies i've encountered.

Contacting this company was the best decision me and my family ever made.

I only wish we had contacted them sooner.

I am so glad Helping hands has come to Chesterfield at last. Mandy Henderson the branch manager knows her stuff, she put my mind at ease answered all my questions and her knowledge is endless, she has even invited me for a coffee at cake at the office with her and left me a box of roses
