This company steals from you. We took our computer in for a repair (overheating to be specific), and it ceased to function within a few weeks. After that, we resorted to buying a refurbished computer from them, but it was supplied without a password and we were told we wouldn’t need one. Of course Microsoft has its periodic password changes, so we were eventually locked out. We called to obtain the password and he cleared the old one out and reset it so we were able to get back in. Claimed we forgot the original password and charged a large fee; this is clearly a side scam.

Avoid if you like to deal with honest people!
Tried to return a completely unused printer in the exact same condition it was sold to me (literally not even taken out the box) and the owner tried to barter with me on the % he could refund and said he could only refund 50%. He was then referred to his own policy that says there’s a 25% restocking fee so it should be 75% refund, he didn’t even know or follow his own refund policy and was acting as if he was doing me a favour by offering 50%. Even more frustrating is him trying to act as if he couldn’t possibly sell it on, when it was sold to me in the exact same condition it was returned, I genuinely couldn’t believe how poor the service is there. Also, just to add insult to injury the same printer that was apparently ‘on sale’ at £99 was £45 in Argos. Such a shame as it’s great to shop local but would’ve had a lot less hassle if I had just shopped at the big retailers. However, his staff were friendly and professional so I hope he learns from them.

Highly unfortunate as took computer in for a clean up and to look at a green led on fan that was permentantly on. They were nice enough to offer moving the fan to the back so the light was not

Guy who was doing it was not the one who usually does hardware and spent an hour trying to change the fan and then was asked if I could come back tomorrow for it as was getting late.

Next day told the person working on it had to go home early and they had not sorted it. Please come back the next day.

Came back at 6 the next day and it still was broken, at this point more damage was done with one fan installed wrong way around and pins broken that I had to point out.

I asked them to just put the computer together as best they could so I could take it home.

They argued to keep it until Friday when the other worker could look at it but I was pretty done with it.

I was charged £45 for the cleaning, originally £55 but when I argued I was taking my computer back in pieces they reduced the price, still way too much in my opinion for what was done.

Overall meant well but was a disappointing and stressful few days.
