Great place for Bird life. And fish when the water is not frozen over. And now and then helicopter if your lucky. Pity the cafe is for JCB members and workers. As could of done with a cupper on a cold day like today. And no toilets it a let down. All that money JCB make and not even a porter loo. They would make money selling coffee N tea never mind a bit of food. Still a great place

Every time we visit my partner's parents we always come for a walk around the lake. We absolutely love feeding the ducks and seeing the stunning views around the lake.

It was fun to have a look around JCB headquarters and have the tour around their factory. It was through Eventbrite, and it cost £30.54 each for 2 hours of history and looking around the factory. It's definitely worth the money for sure.

We adore walking around this huge lake next to the JCB Factory. Good flat paved paths so perfect for prams and wheelchairs. A huge variety of wetland birds to see. Seems a good place for fishing as always a lot of people doing so. Ample free parking. There's usually a ice cream truck by the small lake. Only downside is there are no toilets on site.

This place is just an incredible achievement for the Bamford family and its workforce. The publicly accessible attached park is a mind-blowing collection of plants and waterbirds, with some equally mind-blowing carp. Beautiful experience to walk around the pools taking in the views across the pools and the river Churnet. One thing I would add to the place is a cafe for the visiting public.

Such a beautiful place for a lovely walk with your dog.Beautiful grounds & very clean.Lots of birds & ducks.Couple of great structures around the walk.Had a really pleasant walk on a Sunday afternoon.

I love jcb the jcb 540-180 81kw
But please stop making 17 metres
Just stop that production line from Monday morning they are the worst machine jcb ever made of atleast put the boom on chains same as 18 metre far too slow
And 14 metres please disband twin leaver controls with immediate effect and put the 14 metre on joystick
Also your joy sticks need adjusting there's no response put of it with the bucket on when emptying soil or stone it's all or no response to slow in timing response
The wiper speed has one setting please come on 2 speed control for when it's drizzling
Yous cut the mudguard length to save on plastic on the new model teleporters disaster it what yous created front window constantly destroyed
Also cut out the Interior cup holders etc at rear of seat disaster
The buttons on the new joystick have a tendency to not last long holes appear needs to be sorted out
The black paint on the teleporter doors always starts peeling and rusting looks like zero primers been applied just turns to rust

The JCB world headquarters looked mega! The estate was pretty nice, noticeably a pond with a road going through to a building. We came here on a whim and noticed there was a tourist visitors centre however after being stuck behind some gates and doing a quick Google it was for tours only (which were booked up until 2 months later). I (and I’m sure many other tourists) would have loved to have been able to even go in - even if it was just a gift shop. Please consider doing this as to even be able to some JCB merch from the JCB headquarters would be ace.
