Coming up to a year with Nexus and the service has been great. We operate a large fleet of 500+ vehicles and use Nexus for our short term vehicle hire requirements.
The IRIS portal is brilliant and allows us full visibility and control of our short term hires. The account management team are extremely approachable and make the effort to understand your business to ensure they are adding value.

Let down at the last minute and they didnt try to source a different hire car. On a different occasion i requested to avoid a particular supplier and they booked the vehicle with that company. When you need to contact them it's also a charged number.

Car booking made a month ago. Received a text today to confirm the car was due for dispatch. One hour later, another text received to say it's on its way. Nobody showed up. I called in, the customer support representative made a call whilst I was on hold to phone to see where it was. Then informed me that there was no car available. Apparently someone had phoned today to let me know (they did not). The customer rep couldn't find any notes on the booking log to say that they had phoned anybody to relay this message. I was told it was unavailable as it was in for it's service and MOT. Totally left in the lurch. Dreadful. Won't ever be using them again.

After years of working with Nexus, our account was closed and we were forced to return the long term hires, this was due to a new account management system which ruled us as unworthy.

Within 2 weeks of the last invoices becoming overdue, the company sent our account to a solicitor (despite our not ever failing to make payment) and £1500 of fees were added. We're now in the horrible positive of having to pay the balance to avoid them taking us to court. We understand that within the T&Cs they are well within their rights, however this is certainly not how I would do business with a client who has given years of business to them.

Avoid at all costs would be my recommendation.

Extremely bad experience with Nexus. I had a hire car booked to be off hired and collected on the 14/06. When no one came I contacted them and they said please allow 48 hours for the vehicle to be collected. I have a lease vehicle arriving on the 15/06, cannot get two parking permits and also cannot just stay home for 48 hours waiting for someone to arrive and collect the car. Their response was that the vehicle was my responsibility until someone collected it. How is that fair? Just felt like the way the dealt with it all was very poor.

Useless company late delivering a van. When I called to ask where it was they said drivers stuck in traffic.
2hours later when it arrived ask driver where they came from and it was industrial estate 2 miles away.

Then when comes to collection. Was ment to be between 10 and 12. Contacted there call center at 1150 as no one had collected it yet and I was going out. Who said can you leave the keys out some where for them to collect....
Still not been collected or contacted about it.

Proper poor company.
