I hired a cement mixer for the week it was brilliant, but when it was to go back I waited in all day Friday nobody came, I rang them and the said they had forgot and they would collect it Monday. So I waited in all day again still nobody came. Customer Service Sucks. I would not recommend them again .

We hired a minidigger for a week to excavate our new veggie patches and it was the best thing we could have done! Took so much work out of the job. The guys down at the hub in Bolton were super helpful and friendly. They talked us through everything we needed to know about the gear, then delivered and collected on time. Couldn't ask for better service. Cheers guys!

Bolton branch customer service is horrendous. Staff member called John is very arrogant and I think he has forgotten who pays who and without customers he'll be out of a job. This is the first ever dealing I've had with Smith Hire Bolton and will be the last. I didn't continue with any hire and took my business elsewhere.
