I cannot express my gratitude for what the lady in the shop has done today when I took my son’s mobile to be repaired after a bully snatched it from him and smashed it on the floor. The way she helped us was beyond simply repairing a mobile phone and it honestly gave me back some hope in humanity. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart.

Brilliant! I was heading away on Friday and I needed a charging port replaced by the Thursday latest (called on Monday). They kept me updated and ordered the part in fixing my phone prior to going on holiday. 100% recommend thank you for your help!

Was very disappointed
Firstly was sold the wrong product after being advised by a staff member.
When I said I would pay cash there was not enough change to what I was due.
Tried to get a refund staff member laughed and said no.
Will never be returning and will advise not to go

My worst experience ever and I totally advice everyone to find another place. I was supposed to receive my charging pot in few days to fix my phone and I was the one who followed up with them and found out after a week and a half that they did not find the item ordered and they can provide one that is not original. Also the staff has 0 customer service skills. My advice, go somewhere else.

Went to Tech House in Lakeside to replace a damaged screen, person on counter had a brilliant attitude and was happy to have phone fixed within 2 hours

However upon returning a little early i noticed the person fixing the phone - guy with tattoos down his arms had my phone in pieces all l over the place mixed with other phones he had/was fixing

there was no care at all for the phone and he was absolutely rude and ignorant when i mentioned this.

After assembling the phone i was given this back with no checks or diagnostics and was told to check this in my own time as the screen has a 12 month warranty.

I noticed once i was home there is a marks and scratches to the rear camera area and that the screen does not work as intended to do so - some areas seen to have little sensitivity

This is only personal opinion but i went to iSmash opposite techhouse and they where £20 more expensive but they offered a diagnostics as they are apparently authorized repair center - after care service from tech house appalling

please do research before taking into techhouse

important points to consider

1) do no pressure test
2) do not run diagnostics
3) They are NOT a Authorized repair center for manufacturers

4) after care service sucks - i dont know the repair guys name (Long Tattoo Sleeve) but he can do with some training on attitude, customer service, how to talk to people and MOST IMPORTANTLY how to take care of peoples belongings

some times saving a few bob can actually cause a whole world of issues

If all the shops in Lakeside were as customer focused as this, Lakeside would be the best shopping centre in the UK. I have used them several times for screen protectors and phone cases and now wouldn’t shop anywhere else. Their customer service is second to none. The screens are fitted to perfection (and trust me when I say I am fussy).
Good quality product, with knowledgeable, friendly staff where nothing is to much trouble.
Keep doing what you do Tech House, you are a cut above the rest and a pleasure to buy from.

Go up
