Good product but some software issues

Updating with a further star. A Tepeo engineer has been, identified and corrected an installation fault. The system now runs much more quietly. Software still not great though, so I can't give the full five yet.

I've had a ZEB for a while now. It heats well, although possibly slightly under powered for my house when the temperature really dips.
The software is far from perfect in terms of charging automatically off peak and unfortunately Tepeo's response has been to run it manually.
My biggest disappointment is how noisy the ZEB is in operation. Tepeo did try to sort it out to their credit but it's still an issue.
Customer service is responsive and I do believe that they're really trying but I'm still underwhelmed by the ZEB.

In 2022 we decided to remove our gas boiler and replace it with a ZEB because we wanted to stop burning fossil fuels and also to make the home environment healthier for our family.

The ZEB was installed neatly and easily in our cupboard under the stairs. Through last winter we stayed nice and warm and let the ZEB do it’s thing with choosing the cheapest and greenest times to charge overnight.

Customer support from tepeo has been great and the app is very user friendly. A couple of times there have been bugs with the app but they seemed to get fixed quickly by the team.

I have been trying to decarbonise my home and reduce my carbon footprint for some time so last year I had a Tepeo ZEB installed. It was delivered by the Tepeo team who were very professional. I’d wanted an electric boiler for some time and a heap pump wasn’t right for my house so the ZEB was an ideal solution which meant I could stop using gas in my home (which I have now done). Tepeo after-sales has been excellent and those of us early adopters have been kept in the loop about improvements and future functions, such as utilising excess solar, which is in the pipeline. The ZEB is easily controlled by an app from your mobile phone, it includes lots of functions so you can program it to suit your needs and take advantage of any smart electricity tariffs you might have, you can also see what energy it uses and the cost. The ZEB is a great alternative to a heat pump if like me it isn't suited to your home. It is another way to help us transition to a fossil fuel free future.

Had to take my ZEB out because it was installed to close to combustible materials.. I had a fire safety report to make them take it out.. also damaged my floor on installation & again when it was removed & now won’t pay enough compensation to have repaired correctly & wonder why I’m unhappy? Also it costs an estimated £30/40 a day to run if you want heat your home properly & you need to constantly boast the charge, to just keep up with demand on a cold day..

Ps one star is far to generous..

Had to edit my review because they didn’t like honesty, I thought that was the point
of the reviewing & the star system!

They supply the next generation replacements for our gas boilers, if we didn't rent but owned, I'd definitely look into these
