From the outset we were really impressed with Chris and Toby's professionalism and enthusiasm for the project. They took onboard what we wanted to achieve with our garden transformation and our ideas for using the outdoor space. Their positivity and can-do attitude gave us the reassurance that they could overcome any challenges which might arise, particularly the garden's sloping aspect and drainage problems. Nothing was too difficult.

At the design reveal we were totally blown away by Chris' amazing 3D rendering of the garden. We loved the selection of materials, the inspired contemporary design choices and the lovely planting scheme. It ticked all the boxes for us. Toby's detailed and transparent costings showed exactly where the money would be spent, there were no hidden extras. All of this gave us the confidence to embark on what would be the largest project for our new home.

Our installation team were incredibly hardworking, polite and respectful of our property. They were as tidy as could be given the amount of soil which had to be removed from the garden! We were impressed with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail displayed throughout the project. Toby and the team answered any questions we had and were happy to implement the few changes we requested as work progressed. They dealt with any problems which arose without fuss. It was clear that customer satisfaction is incredibly important for everybody in the company.

The final results were better even than the 3D render we had viewed initially. It really is a dream garden for us, which will help us maximise the enjoyment of our property over the years ahead. Working with the Garden Project Co. has been fantastic from start to finish. Chris spent time getting to know us and what we wanted from the space. He really listened to our ideas and incorporated them into his beautiful design, taking on board our feedback and allowing us to be part of the process, whilst adding his creative and innovative flair. His knowledge of plants is very impressive, which was an important factor for us in choosing the Garden Project Co. He has such a passion for horticulture and design, and it took all of the pain of choosing the correct planting away.

Toby and his team executed the design with precision and care; their attention to detail is outstanding! They are one of the most professional teams we’ve ever worked with, and a genuine pleasure to have around. Their work is exceptional, the quality and execution of the design and materials they used are excellent. You can tell they each take an enormous amount of pride in their work and are genuinely invested in producing stunning results. They were also reliable and polite, and considering the garden was essentially a building site for the first couple of weeks, they were incredibly tidy, too!

The communication from all of the team was exemplary, keeping us informed with regular on site visits from the senior team throughout the project, as well as being at the end of the phone or email. The on site team on were also very happy to answer questions throughout the day too. We couldn’t fault their customer service. It is clear they all love what they do!

Now we are finally enjoying some warm weather, the planting is really coming into its own and we love spending time outside at every chance we get - it’s like we’ve had an extension to the house built and we now have new rooms to enjoy and marvel at!

We would have absolutely no hesitation to work with them again and highly recommend The Garden Project Co. to anyone. Thank you team, for our beautiful garden!

Oakham Garden Services are just amazing. Chris took my concept, listened to my requirements and developed the most incredible design, taking account of all the important details we had discussed. Then Ben and the installation team delivered everything exactly as set out in the plans. The quality of the work is fabulous (and I have to admit to being a perfectionist) and the landscape team were incredibly polite, personable and tidy.

We had The Garden Project Company complete a redesign and makeover of our back garden. The whole process was great from start to finish. They listened to what we wanted incorporated in to our design and suggested things we might like. The team who completed the process were a fantastic group led by Danny. Nothing was ever a problem and they worked so hard to achieve what we wanted. They are also very tidy and fully understood our wish not to block our neighbours driveway which we share and cleared up every single day. An excellent design, consultation and installation experience! The guys from TGPC were amazing from start to finish, listening to our requirements throughout, but also offering advice and guidance to what would work well and what might need rethinking. I particularly liked the fact that the budget was set and accepted and a price agreed; no deviation! Confidence in the fact that they can deliver to plan.

The finished product looks better than the incredible 3d renders, which in all honesty gave us the confidence to accept the proposal as it was quite the leap of faith initially. Quality and attention to detail are so important to me when starting any project such as this and I was pleased to see the TGPC team hold the same level of thought and consideration.

Oakham Gardens have been exceptional.
We first contacted them in June 2022 just before we moved to Lavendon. As we were moving to a new house we had a blank canvas as our back garden. But having moved from a house with a considerable view, this new house had challenge as we had now view only of a very high red bricked retaining wall.
Chris Howkins (co-owner) went away and drew up his initial ideas. I was then invited to a demonstration at their offices, which included detailed drawings and CGI's. What I saw blew me away. After a few changes they started work to suite our timescale on the back retaining wall first shortly after Christmas and were happy to delay the remaining works (at my request due to an extension we were building) until June 2023.
Due to splitting up this project into two distinct halves we had two different Oakham Garden Teams.
Team 1 was Led by Daley supported by Lewis and Will. They leveled the garden and constructed a large retaining wall. This was in January when they worked through some tremendous storms without so much as one complaint.
Team 2 was led by Dan supported by Adam and Nick.
They created the different patio and artificial grass areas. This second half of the project was completed in June and they worked through the heatwave we had.
All of them were conscientious, hardworking, respectful and a joy to have around.

Oakham Garden Services have been the best trades company we’ve had. They’re very friendly and the landscapers showed up on time everyday and worked to high standard, even in the rain and snow! Very impressed with Lewis, Daley and Luke’s work. We did have others on the job at different times but they were all equally great.

Chris’s design blew us away while Toby did a great job of managing the project. The company also has great communication and Ben made our life easy by replying promptly to any questions or concerns we had.

Overall, an amazing company with great employees. Highly recommend!
