Popped in at lunchtime on a Saturday and really enjoyed the food. The chicken and bacon sandwich was very good, my wife had the chicken, leek and cheese pie which was also delicious.

Service was great, very friendly and there is plenty of free parking outside.

Highly recommended

A beautifully decorated pub with a very reasonably priced lunch menu. We had a bacon and chicken sandwich which was crispy and fresh, daily soup came with big good piece of soft white. Staff were attentive and friendly. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

An exceptional experience, we chose to have the breakfast menu as a special family December treat.

The waitress Carrie was the most attentive we have ever experienced. We had our 14 month old daughter with us and after the meal was finished Carrie even took our baby plate to the kitchen to be washed.
Amazing service and food was top quality.

So this as the first time we visited this restaurant for a family occasion, to try the Sunday roast.

On arrival we were greeted by our super friendly waiter who took us to our table. We were seated in a conservatory style extension , with a nice spacious table .

We order starters comprising of chicken strips , port belly and garlic mushrooms. For mains we had a trio road and the rest beef, all the food was super tasty and piping hot,

The deserts were equally as tasty, but the one thing that stands out with this restaurant was the staff. Super attentive super friendly and super professional.

Well done the wateringbury !!! We will definitely be returning

A celebratory meal that didn’t disappoint. Steph was very hospitable and made a fuss of our dog too. Food was fantastic as always! Great table near the warming fire too.

Very enjoyable lunch with friends. Extremely friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and excellent food reasonably priced, especially for us OAPs. Only criticism: sticky toffee pudding portions too big 😅. Will be back!
