I would say I was blown away by how Liza dissected every piece of our landing pages, and up turned every nook and cranny. I decided to go with them as a boutique UK - based company, and ponied up the substantially higher content and landing page design fees. However once the project started, it was handed off to a delivery team in India, and my project manager seemed to never initiate communication with me, and indicated that it was 'up to me' to schedule time to meet with them. I felt that the writer they used was decent and I got an improvement out of the landing page they designed for me, however there was no 'communication' between them and Lisa, and it was clear they missed quite a few of her suggestions and followed a standard template without really taking the time to understand my business. I think that for $4000 USD (what I paid) I should have gotten substantially more face time, collaboration time, and involvement from their UK team, rather than a full handoff to an india based PM and design team. I did have to press on them to do a full redesign of the template they made for me, and it felt frustrating a lot of the time as I was made to feel like I wasn't really speaking their language when I requested more information about the process, more involvement from them, and more initiative every step of the way. Lastly, I signed up for their 'academy' which I cancelled, but still continued being charged for, for several months, and had not heard back from anyone in the company. I think less needy customers in competitive niches, with terrible websites will find tremendous value in their offer, however I think that experienced marketers or high maintenance marketer wanna bees who want the most bang for their buck may find them to be overpriced after the initial $99.00 diagnosis (which is a fantastic value). I'd say get the diagnosis, and then do the graphics/content work elsewhere as it currently stands.
