Bought a new Nikon camera from here after dropping my D500 into a stream on Isle of Skye. Dave Bloom was very helpful and knowledgeable on my new camera and happy to spend time with me on Sat morning, going through the cameras capabilities. Thank you! I also booked a lens in for exchange. What a valiant experience! Dave Bloom went out of his way to help me out when changing over from Fuji to Sony. Even on the busy Roadshow day he spent a bunch of time cataloging what I was part exchanging, and was patient with me when I couldn’t make my mind up on lenses. He even reminded me of the roadshow discount on top of the normal discount for this month on Sony (he came to find me while I was looking around the store to tell me!).
The day before I’d spoken to Reese (Reece?) on the phone and again, he was super helpful.
I’m super happy with my change to Sony, and I’m super happy with great service from those I dealt with at Wex. Definitely recommended.

I visited Wex Norwich store on 21st January 2025 to look at a new Canon camera and lens that I was considering. From the moment I entered the showroom through to when I left the experience was first rate. Dave Bloom, the sales consultant, gave me a cheerful welcome before booking in my old gear for trade-in inspection. Then, after a brief discussion, he took me to see the Canon R7 and lens that had attracted me. He gave me outline positives about the equipment and answered all my questions in what seemed an honest and straightforward way. Where he didn't think some features, though present on the camera, would be of great use to me he said so - having first taken the trouble to ascertain my main photographic interests.
I can't thank Wex - and Dave Bloom in particular - enough for being so helpful and efficient. Parting with my money was never so easy!

Great service as usual. Was dealt with 3 times by Chris Dunning who was very helpful and informative. Bought my Sony A7 IV and because Chris wasn't pushy, I ended up going back for a lens from them too. I was dithering about which every day lens to choose. But because they have a 45 day return option, it has given me breathing space to figure out if I’ve got it right or not. Can’t wait to try it all!! Thanks Chris

Spoke with Chris at Norwich when I visited to purchase a new lens for my Fujifilm camera, seems I got the right person to talk to, as he is also a keen street photographer. He knew his Fujifilm really well and advised me via his own experience which would be the right prime lens to go for, as I was wanting to get away from the 18-80 standard lens which only dropped to f4. I walked away with a used 23mm f2 lens. Thanks for your help today, in is what appears to be a mine field of lenses.
