Absolutely awful - DO NOT USE. If I could give zero stars I would. What can I possibly say about this company. They did not follow instruction and left us to do the work. As part of our house sale we had to extend the lease which can take months. Our real estate agent asked the solicitor to do this in June, we found out in August she had not bothered. We then completed this ourselves which pushed our moving date back months. For the mess they made of our move they offered us a laughable reduction in fees, taking off only the cost of the lease extension which we did ourselves. If you would like to experience severe depression this is fine, otherwise avoid this company.
The one positive I can say is that when our original solicitor left (to which we weren’t informed) we were assigned Suryana who was very empathetic and efficient.

An extremely bad experience to do property purchase through this solicitor. They got all the documents wrong. Wrong names, wrong calculation, wrong invoice. Not willing to amend anything until the estate agent chased them for many times.

Never pick up phone calls from us. No explanation on the whole purchase process. No acknowledgement on receipt of documents and deposit. Not allow enough time for us (we are the buyer) to transfer funding.

Never let me know about the status of the purchase.

Completion is delayed for few more weeks this rubbish company.

Please avoid this company that is recommended by Chancellors. They will help you to delay all the things as much as they can.

If the score can be zero, I will put zero star for them.

Simply Legal were representing my buyer and slowed down the process at every possibly opportunity.

Took 3 weeks to contact my solicitor after we accepted the offer and also delayed exchange with the constant excuses of staff being off sick or on annual leave with no handover to anyone else at all.

They wouldn’t answer the phone to our buyer or estate agent throughout the process and my solicitor even recommended that the buyer should switch to another more competent one.

The worst experience. Promised to help us finish our buying process in 12-14 weeks and it took almost 6 months. We ended up getting the key from the property 3 days before our mortgage offer expired, and that only after tens of phone calls from my side. Charged us (with no exageration) 50% more than the initial quote. Very bad communications, sometimes taking a full week to answer a simple email. And now, after all that I cannot get hold of them neither by phone or email after requesting a document to be able to register our property for service charge. Awful

AWFUL COMPANY - AWFUL EXPERIENCE.
They do not respond to emails, they do not answer the phone or respond to phone calls, you cannot talk to anyone, they do not answer queries from other solicitors in a timely manner, it has been 3 months and still no response to queries, after a long buying and selling process, and even still, they aren’t cooperating with the sale, we should be exchanging but there’s no one to talk to…. it’s like they don’t even exist!
Do NOT use them! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! I’m serious!

An awful experience, I don’t have long enough to list their shortcomings. Terrible communication, emails and phone calls unanswered, delays to a very simple chain. My full time job had to take a back seat to chasing my solicitor and communicating with other parties as no one could get hold of her. The list goes on. My solicitor didn’t even inform me she was going to be away at the time of exchange/completion (not that she had gathered the necessary documents in time for it anyway). After talking to her all week and arranging for documents to be dropped into her on Monday morning, I received an out of office response to an email I sent saying she would be away and did not receive any kind of handover to another member of staff. I had to call the office to see what was happening and if my exchange would be going ahead. We thank our lucky stars that a more experienced member took over as we truly believe we would still be waiting. We were offered a £50 reduction in fees, given our overall experience, we found this to be rather insulting.

I reached out to the director of this company via phone, via email and via our estate agent who had recommended that and he did not reply. In my opinion, any reply below this review will be completely disingenuous.
