Do not use this company, especially for high-ticket items.

I paid for an extension, and instead of securing my items, they sold them without informing me. When I raised the issue, all they said was they weren’t bothered. This review concerns the Blyth branch, and a total of £300 has gone missing from my sale.

Other branches claim they contact you when an item is about to expire, but clearly, this was not the case with my high-ticket item worth over £3000. It’s obvious they were more interested in selling the items to make more money. Now, I’m left with solicitor costs to cover as well. I was completely disappointed with the service and handling of my belongings.

On arrival as you enter there’s a little counter on the right side of the shop, there was a large member of staff behind the counter stuffing his face with food playing on his phone and had no idea i was even there, absolutely shocking customer service.

After that encounter i continued to walk down the shop to the bottom counter, i was greeted by a gentleman that looked absolutely scruffy and his finger nails were filthy.

It looks disgusting!

He then proceeded to determine a valuation on the item i brought in and low balled me on it.

I kindly asked him if there was a mistake with the valuation he quoted me, as to which he laughed and made fun of the item i brought in, quoting it to be old and decreasing in value, to which i replied “you’ve got no chance, this item is worth significantly more then your quoting me”.

I then said to the gentleman I’m not interested in your offer and proceeded to move on, as I walked away with my item i heard him whisper something to a colleague beside him to which i turned around and asked him what he said.

His response, shrug off the shoulders and said “nothing”.

I will definitely not be visiting this establishment ever again and would advise others to go elsewhere.

They used to have good staff members a few year ago, a older senior gentleman who i believe was the manager, he was extremely reasonable and fare and was very polite, along with a younger guy who had a pony tail and beard.

It’s a shame to see how poorly this establishment has become in such a short time!

Getting progressively worse, refused a phone because of the generation of the phone, (iPhone X) despite there being multiple different listings of the phone on the website. Then they refused a bike because there was no space, despite there being two slots for bikes outside.

Been in and bought several bits of guitar gear..staff are always pleasant,nobody pushes you,they are all laid back,but helpful if required.
Good range of products,browsing without buying is welcomed always!

Must be under new management as the place has really improved since I last visited. Bought an iPhone 14. It was the cheapest I could find and in great nick. Fully recommend

I rang before about returning an item. they basically were saying just because I needed my money back that it wasn't fair on them. the manager has the biggest attitude. I work in retail if I spoke to someone like that about returning something I would have had a complaint put in. or even sacked

Tried to sell a simple car subwoofer and was told it was beyond his knowledge as he couldn’t attach two wires… as bright as a blackout well employed 👍👏
