Absolutely shocking service ordered a sleeping back 2 week before Christmas didn't recieve a email saying it had been despatched so phoned anglingdirect to be told they didn't have it in stock so why dis it let me order then? Was told I could swap the item for something similar value which I said I'd phone back the day after as it wasn't for me it was a present for my day after speaking to him I phoned the day after to be told the lines were shut until after Christmas however after Christmas I had a email saying the original item they told me wasn't in stock had now been picked and packed and still sat here today waiting to recieve they item well after Christmas thanks alot bunch of cowboys

Absolutely shocking don’t spend your money here as there attitudes are appalling with no customer service! Bring back the small independent stores. Clueless no one answer the phone to sort problems & faults don’t waste your money with this outfit

Absolutely awful.
Ordered a fishing rod well over a month ago.
3 of the same rods have arrived and have all been broken.
I’m so disappointed.
I just want my refund and never to shop with Angling Direct again.

Angling direct have to be one of the worst companies to try and deal with as everything is email then you have to wait up to 3 day for a reply and then thay don't bother replying I have sick of this I didn't expecting to pay over £600 for a bivvy and with in 6 month is start braking and send for reply just to get a mucky mouse reply job on it with parts that a customer can not buy them self and you expect this to be fine but even that's not good enough the bivvy bag then comes back with a knife cut throw it and again that's fine I wish I had never purchased it from angling direct as the problem has been on going since the beginning of September 2024 and no one wants to help resolve this
Please look again if you are thinking of buying anything expensive as I would not buy anything from this company again as thay had made feel all thay care about is money

This company is a joke ordered 5 or 6 times now and every time there are items missing. I'm now on hold for over 30 minutes chasing the last order I will ever do with them. A JOkE OF A COMPANY

Never ever will I use this firm again. I am a £1600 pole missing and no replies to e mails. I suspect I was lied to by an operator yesterday when he assured me it would be with me today. Next stop trading standards and a refund from the credit card company if if doesn’t show.
