Highly recommend Phil. Took my ageing Strat for an overdue service. Frets dressed, trem locked down, overhaul of electrics and restring. Good as new now. He’s very knowledgeable and extremely great value for money.

Took my Les Paul Custom into Rich for a setup, fret dress and a change of pickups and electronics. Not only did he do a fantastic job with all of the above he’s managed to make my guitar even more enjoyable to play than it’s ever been before.

Literally look no further for a Tech in the Bristol area. Phil is the absolute man. Super professional and a pure gentleman. Actually listens to you and takes total consideration of your performing requirements and musical style. Phil even suggested a small custom job to improve the comfort of the instrument for me, which he included in the service price. Sourced fresh parts and cleaned the instrument to a gleaming polish. £127 for 4 hours labour with the full set up and fret dress plus fresh sourced parts and a custom job, worth every penny. My Jackson feels like a new guitar. If I ever need any guitar work doing, Phil is my number 1!

I took Epiphone Les Paul to have pick ups and a fault with one of the volume pots and set up the action.

the work Phil done was excellent so much so it’s a lot easier to play for a left-hand musician

so I’m bringing another 3 guitars for him to repair and sort out and set up for me.

Phil transformed a tired old Les Paul copy into a vintage classic by a great setup and re-wire. Most of all, his advice on affordable replacement pickups was top notch and he went out of his way to source them. Overall, a very good service with great communication throughout. I will be taking other guitars his way for sure. Highly recommended!

Top work. Speedy turn around. Excellent price.
I took my Squier P bass in as I couldn't get the sound right. Phil diagnosed the problem and proposed a remedy in short order. The work was undertaken quickly and my guitar was returned to me in time for my gig.
I'm really pleased with the work and will definitely be using Phil again in the future.
