A beautiful building that represents the Welsh Parliament. There is the typical amount of security you would expect at a government building to get in, so make sure you are prepared for that, ( and don't pack too heavily).
The staff was friendly and helpful and more than willing to answer any question related to the functioning of the Welsh Parliament. They let you into the viewing area so can easily see the chamber, and explain the process overall. There is a gift shop and cafe as well.
Overall, a nice to place to visit and learn a little bit about the Wales devolved government system.

Really modern building. You can visit it to learn more about Welsh politics and the evolution of the country over the years. It is interesting even if you are coming as a tourist/visitor, because the staff is really friendly and helpful. They will try to explain everything you want and also small exhibitions can give you a even better view of the status.
A very good nice thing is that the building is built with materials coming from Wales and with focus in the environmental sustainability.

I visited the Senedd on a Saturday so it was nice and quiet, security were friendly yet thorough.

Once inside I visited upstairs where they had some nice history information and a cafe.

The staff member was polite and prompt in not only taking my order but providing me with my coffee.

I was able to enjoy the peace whilst I did some digital work and the coffee was nice at £3.

I will be visiting here again.

An interesting look round. Much smaller and intimate than it looks on TV. Very interesting discussion with one of the curators regarding Welsh Politics and Language. In New Zealand we sometimes have a similar debate. 12/04/2025

Interesting place to visit. Great architecture. Café open to the public and quieter than many others in the area. Airport style security at the entrance so empty your pockets. Tours are available though I didn't take one. I went mainly for the poppy display.
